This set of colouring books includes some of the most common things children find in the world around them. When they notice vegetables, modes of transport, flowers, fruits, birds and animals in the books, they instantly connect them to what they had previously seen in the real world. As they associate memories with the images, they are able to recognise the colours and shapes of each object. Further, with time, they also gain awareness of colour, which gives them a chance to experiment with shades.
